How to report
Tell the state Medicaid office. CMS does not publish one national form. Watch your mail. If the state asks for proof, the June 1, 2026 fact sheet says you get 30 days. Do not type a login, a Medicaid ID, or a card number on this website.

Expansion and start date
Kentucky is an expansion state in the KFF tracker.
42 CFR 435.559 sets the national date at January 1, 2027. A state may start sooner, or ask CMS for a good-faith delay that cannot run past December 31, 2028. We did not verify an early start or a delay for Kentucky. The only early start we verified is Nebraska.
