How much SNAP will I get?

In the 48 states and D.C., the largest food stamps (SNAP) benefit for four people is $1,023 a month before income is counted. That maximum is the fiscal year 2027 USDA table. Your amount is lower when the household has income. Alaska and Hawaii use higher tables. Type income and rent on your state page. We do not save them.

Simple answer

Up to $1,023 a month for 4 people in most states.

That is the FY 2027 maximum for the 48 states and D.C. One person can get up to $306. Alaska and Hawaii are higher. Your amount is lower when you have income.

Open your state and type the income and rent. We do not ask for an EBT card number. The numbers stay on this page.

Where the amounts come from

FNA SNAP cost-of-living adjustment page, FY 2027 tables. Effective October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. Last checked 2026-10-16.

The steps are on the USDA eligibility page. That example still uses a $217 standard deduction for 4 people. The FY 2027 table says $229, so we use $229.

What changed
  • October 1, 2026. FY 2027 SNAP allotments and deductions took effect. This estimator uses that table, including the $229 standard deduction for four people in the 48 states and D.C.
  • August 25, 2026. FNS updated the FY 2027 utility-allowance memo. It did not include amounts we could read, so heating allowances stay on the FY 2026 file and are labeled that way.
  • August 18, 2026. FNS updated the page for the FY 2026 standard utility allowance table.
